30 Years of the Master of Philosophy in Applied Epidemiology Program

7 September 2021, 11:00 am – 4:00 pm AEST
Virtual

The MAE Program is celebrating 30 years of training future public health leaders. Our graduates have played crucial roles in managing health and disease outbreaks around the world. To commemorate this milestone we are holding a symposium followed by a cocktail reception on Tuesday 7 September 2021.

This date coincides with World Field Epidemiology Day, a global movement to recognise and raise awareness of the vital role of field epidemiologists in protecting population health, advancing global health security, and advocating for increased investment in field epidemiology training, research, and professionals.

Join us as we look back and celebrate 30 years of impact, while looking to the future. Hear from esteemed graduates, learn about the work of current students, re-connect with friends, and network with your peers. We would like to see as many MAE graduates as possible attend, so please share this website information with your network of MAE alumni.

Photo Competition --- Field epidemiologists strive to communicate information ─ photos heighten the visual impact of such information! Plus it’s always fun to reminisce with a few photos, and we would love to have some on display from your time in the MAE program and beyond. To encourage you to send your snaps through, we will have some prizes on offer. Current students are also encouraged to submit photos. Please email your photo to mae [dot] rsph [at] anu [dot] edu [dot] au by 31 August.
