1st Annual World Field Epidemiology Day: Celebrating Our Public Health "Disease Detectives"

07 Sep 2021, 08:00 to 10:00
Virtual

In nearly every country, field epidemiologists have been on the front lines in the fight against COVID-19. While the pandemic has brought their work to the forefront, these "disease detectives" often work behind the scenes, protecting the health of populations by detecting and responding to public health threats and emergencies.

In honor of the first World Field Epidemiology Day, organized by TEPHINET, we invite you to hear from field epidemiologists and public health leaders around the globe about the complex, life-saving work they do, and the vital role that Field Epidemiology Training Programs play in ensuring global health security.
